Since more people are getting mobile e-readers like Kindle or iPad, I want to alert you to the possibilities for using these mobile devices to read the PDF files that you purchase in our Bookstore here on DearPeggy.com My PDF files do not require that you sit at your computer to read them. They can be transferred to mobile readers such as Kindle or iPad so you can read them anywherein your home or on the road.
Regarding Kindle: Amazon provides detailed instructions for putting your PDF files on your Kindle. Here's the page on Amazon.com that describes this process. Sending Personal Documents to Your Kindle.
Regarding iPad: Another method for putting your PDF files on your iPad is to set up a "Kindle Account." Note that you do NOT need to own a Kindle to set up a Kindle Account. Once you have used the fee-based Amazon service that allows your PDF file to exist "in the clouds," you can also access those files on your iPad. So I hope those of you who have (or will get) either a Kindle or an iPad will take note of this alternative way of reading my books. |
