Tips For Expressing Love [ #5 ] [ article ] [ #1 ] [ #2 ] [ #3 ]

#4 - Put your love in writing.

Verbal expressions of love are great, but so are written ones. In fact, the written word adds an extra dimension. It can be savored in a different way, in the first moment it's read—and later as well.

Putting some thoughts in writing whenever you're apart is a good habit to develop, but don't wait for those times. An unexpected love note when you're together can have an even greater impact.

Special occasions provide more good opportunities to express loving feelings. If you buy a card with a verse, add a note explaining why you chose it. Better still, buy a blank card and write your own message. It doesn't need to be a poem, just sincere words describing the way you feel about your partner. Some of these will be saved and cherished for many years and will continue to add to the loving feelings that flow back and forth.
